Legislative Activity in 2010

Many people say that Congress isn’t doing anything.  That is not accurate, and much of what Congress has done this year is very positive. As of November 2, 2010, for this year:

565 House votes on bills

248 Senate votes on bills

134 bills have been signed by President Obama and became law.


True, many bills are non-controversial – e.g. naming of post offices and other federal buildings.  But, most are significant!
