DENVER: The widely-publicized “Nuns on the Bus” will visit Colorado Springs and Boulder on Monday, Nov. 12 and Denver on Tuesday, Nov. 13 to highlight the work of local social service providers to protect poor families, as well as to call on Senator Bennet and all U.S. Senators to end the Bush tax breaks for the wealthiest two percent and protect Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security from benefit cuts in the midst of fiscal debate.

Sponsored by NETWORK, A National Catholic Social Justice Lobby, local faith leaders and advocates will join nationally recognized Sister Simone Campbell to remind elected officials of their moral responsibility to put the needs of seniors and families before the wealthiest Americans and corporate special interests.
