For her senior thesis, she discussed Liberation Theology and explored its role in modern-day Ghanaian Evangelical Christianity. Prior to NETWORK, Charlotte served as a student leader on campus bringing awareness to issues affecting students of color and commuters and also worked as an Urban Plunge Assistant who introduced incoming first-year students to community service and social justice. Outside of campus, she served as a grant writer for a community organization and a research assistant for The Bronx African American History Project -- an oral history project dedicated to uncovering the cultural, political, economic and religious histories of the more than 500,000 people of African descent in the Bronx.
