Catholic Lobby Decries Gun Deaths at Dallas Immigrant Detention Center

WASHINGTON—In the wake of the shooting at a Dallas ICE facility in Dallas, NETWORK Lobby for Catholic Social Justice reiterated its opposition to all gun violence and political violence, as well as its support for common sense gun control. 

NETWORK Executive Director Laurie Carafone said: 

“NETWORK mourns the tragic shooting and loss of life at an ICE facility in Dallas. Catholic Sisters have long embraced nonviolence, and NETWORK decries all gun violence and condemns all acts of political violence. NETWORK Lobby for Catholic Social Justice continues to support common sense gun control in this country. Our prayers are with the families of the victims and all who experienced this horrendous act.”
