Maggie Brevig

Development Director

Maggie is NETWORK’s Development Director, and her work ensures we have the resources for the continuation of our political ministry. She leads efforts to raise annual, major, and planned gifts; and helps members, donors, and partner organizations connect with opportunities to participate in our mission.

Before joining NETWORK in 2010, Maggie completed social work field practicums in Community Relations at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and in Government Relations at Charles Group Consulting. She has a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Music from Boston College, where she also earned a Master of Social Work, focused on community organizing, policy, planning, and administration.

Where she finds inspiration for work: the many communities of people who, in the face of structures that dominate and oppress, persisted (and still do) in building toward a more just and compassionate world

What she loves outside of NETWORK:
– making detailed itineraries for visits to theme parks
– volunteering as a board member for Fandom Forward
– listening to critical fandom podcasts like #WizardTeam and Game of Roses

Originally from Calvert County, Maryland, Maggie likes D.C. because there are so many passionate and driven people who want to make a real difference here.
