Lent 2023

Lent 2025

No matter who we are, where we live, or the color of our skin, Catholics and people of faith across the country agree that taking food and health care from our families to make the ultra-wealthy richer is just plain wrong.

We want an economy that works for all of us–not just a handful of billionaires. So this Lent, people across faiths, places, and races are coming together to take action for the common good.

We fast from things that prevent us from being part of the Beloved Community. We are coming together to disrupt the work of billionaires—and their enablers in Congress—who put their own interests ahead of the country’s, dismantling our government in the process. This Lent, we’re giving up billionaires, and the greed, gluttony, and selfishness they represent, and calling on Congress to do the same. Join us!

Ash Wednesday: A Call to Action for a Compassionate Budget
