Congress is in the early stages of negotiating the next Farm Bill: a far-reaching bill that includes reauthorization of SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program). Urge Congress to reject efforts to cut funding, restrict access, or make structural changes to the program.  SNAP works and helps put food on the table of 42 million low-income people.  Any changes in the next Farm Bill should focus on strengthening SNAP by making it more accessible, not less so.
