Alannah is one of NETWORK’s Grassroots Mobilization Associates. At NETWORK her focus is to reach out to members and grassroots contacts to work with them on advocating for policies motivated by principles of Catholic Social Justice. Alannah graduated from Manhattan College in 2018 with dual degrees in Peace Studies and Philosophy. During her time as an undergrad, Alannah worked to integrate Catholic Social Justice and the needs of women and the LGBTQ community on campus and was successful in organizing to open the Lasallian Women and Gender Resource Center on campus. This past summer, Alannah served as campaign manager for Jillian Gilchrest for State Rep, a Connecticut campaign that was successful in unseating a 23-year incumbent. Where she finds inspiration for her work: • Her mother and grandmother and all of the work they have done before her. • People who show up day in and day out to do good work.
