Audrey Carroll graduated from DePaul University in 2020 with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in History. Before joining the NETWORK team, Audrey held internship positions in Senator Tammy Duckworth’s Chicago office and the Irish Parliament, along with campaign field work in Chicago’s recent mayoral race. At DePaul, Audrey became a certified Peace Circle facilitator and is trained in restorative justice mediation. Also during her time at DePaul University, she served as Catholic Campus Ministry’s Catholic Relief Services’ Student Ambassador. Additionally, Audrey has completed community organizer training in partnership with Chicago Coalition for the Homeless. Where do you find inspiration for your work? I draw inspiration from the countless zealous, Catholic, women leaders who have come before me, such as Dorothy Day and St. Louise de Marillac. I am also very inspired by my generation’s zero-tolerance policy for hatred and injustice.
