Issued by the Trump administration in December 2020, the Security Bars and Processing rule inaccurately targets and classifies asylum seekers as a public health threat.

The Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice need to rescind the rule in its entirety so that it does not go into effect. It is past time to fully rescind this ban on asylum.
